Absolute path to the books is impractical
Absolute path to the books is impractical.
What about just set the folder root?
Our books are mostly under one root folder and subfolders.
If I have the book collection on the external drive, it has different letter on different machines.
I would prefer save ALL the books detail including cover pictures in the book's root folder.

Could you specify where you would like to set the folder root?
You can save book file and cover files in the single book folder now.
I am confused since some front book pictures are stored in the folder
C:\Program Files\Alfa.NetSoft\Alfa Ebooks Manager\Covers\
some in the
C:\Program Files\Alfa.NetSoft\Alfa Ebooks Manager\
and if I take it from pdf file, then it offers to store it in the same folder as the pdf file is.
Some are named by numbers and some have text name....
When you download a book cover from the Web you can specify the folder where you want to save it. The same, when you create a cover from PDF file, and then save it, you are prompted to select the folder.
If you mean book thumbnails, they are stored not in folders, but in the database
OK. Now I see I can save thumbnails into database without saving the cover pictures.
BTW your captcha is rather difficult to read.
