Alfareader Internal won't close

I'm not sure if it's just me but I find that even when I close a book opened in Alfareader Internal, it still stays open in background processes, draining CPU and memory resources. I can only end the process in task manager to really closed that instance of Alfareader Internal in order to free up the computer's resources.

Hi, normally it should close. Please let us know your Windows version
Does Alfareader and Alfa Ebooks Manager process close when you close Alfa Ebooks Manager?

Windows 10. Only AEM closes when I close it. Alfareader Internal does not unless I use task manager.

What were you doing when you wanted to close this? Were you scanning and it appear to freeze up? If so, for me it crashed during a scan of a file it didn't recover from or unrecognized format. An error pops up hidden behind the application. You will never know it is there. I had to do the same thing, end the task, but right as I am doing it, I get a brief site of the crash popup. In the end with this pop up running in the background is a windows issue expecting you to click ok, if not windows will not let you close the application. Using END task will of course kill it. I hope this helps and this is from my experience.

My bad you mention it happened when you were using the reader. I missed that part, I can't delete my post.
