Few questions about Alfa Ebooks Manager

Hello

great work on this. I have been looking for a tool like this for some time.

Some points:

a) When I search a book and it brings back the details from Amazon or whichever site, why doesn't genre get tranferred to the database even though I have it checked?

b) when looking at the 3D book view, I think it would be good if you could have a full screen option--even when you turn the tool bars off I would like the book to be slightly higher in the screen.

c) I use a tool called copernic to search the contents of my ebook library...it would be great to have something similar integrated with AEM so you could search the content of the books.

d) When I add books to scan, it doesn't seem that it seaches for html books. I have to add these manually. Am I doing it something wrong?

Thanks for your support

Hi CJ,
Thanks for your feedback and ideas. We'll consider them for our future versions
Regarding genres - meanwhile you can't transfer genres from Amazon - you can only select them from your own genres lookup. Because genres in Amazon can have duplicates with genres on Google Books and other sites, we decided that it's better to add them manually.

To get 3D book full screen view you can push the triangle button in the top-right corner of the section

And yes, the default extension list doesn't contain HTML - we'll add it in the next version

Thanks for the reply.

I understand I can stretch the 3D view but I can only go so far due to toolbar and file/view/books/etc area?

Also, I just got a new laptop--its a Dell 686 with 64-bit Windows--I can download ghost script and it works but not with AEM.

Any ideas--you come across this before?

Cheers

ok, we'll consider the full screen view for our next releases

Regarding your 64-bit system. Have you installed 32bit GhostScript or 64bit version? We tested it only with 32bit GhostScript. Make sure that you copied gsdll32.dll to AEM root folder
