How to display books in the correct series order?

Hello
I'm currently evaluating your program with a view to using it in place of Collectorz.com Book Collector. While I realise that your software is primarily for eBooks it looks really good.
However, as an avid collector of books one option I really need is the ability to have my Series displayed in the correct order, eg. have the Harry Potter books in the order they were released. But, I can't seem to find an option to input Series Number. Am I missing something?

It's quite easy to solve your task - you can just use the Sort drop-down list on the toolbar. Just select "Sort by Publish Date" and all your Harry Potter books will be sorted in the order they were released

Thanks for the response...and it solves one issue.
However, Harry Potter wasn't the best example I could have given; a better one would be an author like Anne McCaffrey who has release 20+ 'Pern' books. I currently have them sorted using Series Number into the 'Chronological Reading Order' rather than the release order.
It's for this sort of situation where a Series Number is very useful.
Also - while I'm here - is there anyway in the 'Shelf' mode to have the books all together on the shelf rather than one per shelf?

Neil, as you can see, the software provides the Series field for a book. So if each book of one author has unique series number, you can view all author's books and sort them by series.
Regarding the Shelf mode - in current skin there is only one book per shelf, because the book data is displayed. We will consider a skin with multiple books on a shelf without data for one of the next updates
