Managing Books on Kindle

As a total newbie I'm still finding my way around Alfa eBooks Manager.
What I'd like to know is how exactly can I manage my books on my Kindle through Alfa eBooks Manager?
The FAQ say that it's possible but I just don't get it!
Please help a doddering oldie who is quite new to this whole eBook world.
Many thanks.

Hi, when you connect Kindle to PC and launch Alfa, it appears in File Explorer -> Locations tab
You can scan Kindle and automatically add all books (with covers and metadata) to Alfa's database, organize and sort them
Using Alfa you can add book(s) to Kindle from computer or backup books from Kindle to PC
The only thing you can't do in Alfa - is managing Kindle collections. For this purpose we provide another software - Kindlian (kindlian.com)

Thanks for your reply admin.
Unfortunately when I connect Kindle and then launch Alfa, the Location tab only lists the Drives on my PC, not Kindle.
As for Kindlian, I have attempted to use it but it instructs me to update Kindlian and my Kindle Paperwhite doesn't appear to have the facility to do this manually, consequently I can't get past this stage of the process.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

Please try to scan your Kindle first

Okay!
Scanned Kindle and we're in business.
Further to my comment above about Kindlian, I am in contact with their support unit at present and they are trying to resolve the problem.
Thanks for your prompt help.
