Trouble playing audio books

Internal reader works correctly playing audiobooks in MP3 format but m4b they play at high speed ×2 is this a bug that programmers are aware of?

Also I'm kind of disappointed in the functionality of the internal reader app for audio books. Variable speed options and sorting options would be a nice feature. As it stands right now if I have a multi disc audiobook I can't play from disc 1 tracks 1 to 10. It wants to put all the track 1 chapters together.

Hello,
Please check other m4b books. We tested many m4b books and the speed was correct
We'll improve the player functionality in next versions and take into account your ideas

Thanks for the reply

I checked several different M4B files, unfortunately, they all behave the same way.
There from different sources and I've tested them with iTunes, foobar, music bee and VLC. All those programs play them at normal speed. Is the internal reader app supposed to launch for audio files? That's how they open for me. I'm just trying to narrow down any other issues that could cause this problem.

Thanks for considering my suggestions for future updates. Just to be clear about the disk number idea. Several of my audiobooks have metadata for disk number and disk total that's being ignored. So by adding a disk sorting string to your internal player that could be easily fixed.

Best regards
