Unknown Application Error

When I scan for books on my laptop (in a folder "my Kindle" everything shows up but when I save it I get an Unknown Application Error Message. I've looked at the help section but get no indication that I'm doing anything wrong.
I was going to attach a screen shot, but it doesn't appear that the forum allows that.
Thank you.

Since I couldn't do the attachment I wrote out what the error message said:

Hi Terpi,
Please try to uncheck all options in the Scan windows and repeat the scan. Does the error persist?

When I uncheck all options in the Scan window (except for extensions to scan for) my books are loaded (there are 638 books in my library). but after I save I get the same error message as above and then when I look for my books nothing shows. If I close Alpha Book Manager and reopen it all of my books show. What I did discover now is that all of my kindle book titles show up like this "B00HHYCNKC_EBOK" The real titles do not show up. Is there anything I can do about this. When I open the kindle reader (either my ebook or the PC app) the titles show correctly.
