Unknown escape character error when scanning

Hi
I bought Alfa Ebooks Manager
When i scan a directory for pdf files, i encounter a error message "object number out of range..." I click several time on "ignore" button but many files later i encounter a new error message "unknown escape character in...." . I press many many times on 'ignore' but finally i needed to abort the scan
I hope you can find and correct this problem...

What language is used in these pdf files?
It seems that the problem is caused by the language, but we will fix it in the next version that is scheduled for the end on July

My system is windows XP french version
It seems i had no problem with the demo version but it's possible that the problem occurs after the 50 files limitation of the demo version.
This problem occurs many times during the scan. I click on 'ignore' button several times and the program continue the scan normally...
Concerning the second problem (i didn't make a screenshot - but the report was about "unknown escape character in..."), i suppose it's because i have some pdf in japanese and russian languages...
After this one, i was forced to click on 'abort' and then the program crashed
I usually can open japenese and russian pdf files with adobe acrobat (version 9)...
